  • The Devils Tower National Monument is a stately rock formation made famous in the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The Tower Trail which encircles the tower can be enjoyed on your own or a guided tour by a park ranger.
  • The Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is home to some exquisitely colorful canyons and the famous Flaming Gorge Reservoir which are quite popular among outdoor enthusiasts and visitors. Prospects for water recreation are plentiful, with boating, fishing, kayaking etc.
  • The Bridger Valley Historic Byway is a 20-mile loop via the Oregon and California Trail, the Pony Express rides, the Lincoln Highway and the transcontinental railroad. Other attractions along the way consist of the Fort Bridger State Historic Site and sight-seeing.
