- A part of the Cherry Creek State Park offers miles of biking trails. This park is complete with a beach, a dam and countless fun activities to experience. Spend an entire day touring the park, enjoying the exquisite views this park has to offer.
- Aurora Reservoir is home to first-rate picnic areas, hiking and biking trails. An astounding quantity of birds makes this place more scenic. You can also rent kayaks and boats within a very decent price. Take in coolers and meals and make it a day!
- The Aurora Fox Arts Theater is a small theater in the city with lots of history since its inception. The staff here is very friendly and food of course is great. Spend a quality evening with your old woman by hitting on a show here.
- The 12 Mile Stables is a wonderful place to go for a horse ride. You can take horse-riding lessons here which you shall adore. All the horses available are trained and well-mannered. The trail ride leaders are kind and friendly. Make sure not to miss the sunset ride.
- The Arapahoe Park is quite a gateway to spend a serene afternoon. While adults are allowed to gamble on horse races, it also serves as a fun outing. Races run about every 20 minutes. This place provides a nice indoor seating and parking is always free!
