  • Take a trip to the historic USS North Carolina which was the greatest battleship in the world in the yesteryears. Spend some cool time abroad the original sea weapon, marveling at its exceptional weaponry, and go back in time while abroad the vessel and imagine the daily life of the crew during World War II.
  • Old Salem, a historic district of Winston-Salem is something you won’t want to miss.   • The Reedy Creek Park & Nature Preserve is a Mecklenburg County Park in northeast Charlotte which is a hub of picnic shelters, athletic turfs, golf course and other facilities. The nature preserve is home to two ponds, the nature center, and 10 miles of hiking trails. Remains of the 18th century Robinson Rock House is another attraction of this place.
  • Kayaking at the peaceful waters of Catawba river that runs through the central Piedmont area of North Carolina, is a perfect gateway to while away a lazy summer day.
