The Eclipse 3 is one of the latest in the Eclipse line by Sequal, and it features some of the best they have to offer in versatile and powerful portable oxygen concentrators. This is a continuous flow and pulse dose oxygen concentrator, which means it delivers doses measured in LPM (Liters Per Minute) in a continuous flow of oxygen, as well as puffs of oxygen delivered when you are about to take a breath.
The continuous flow settings are from 0.5 to 3 LPM in 0.5 increments, and pulse dose settings from 16 - 96 in 16 mL increments, 128, 160 and 192 mL. This makes the Eclipse 3 ideal for those who need a higher dosage, or a half dose that other portable models don't provide. The purity is always around 93%, and features Sequal's AutoSAT technology, which means it will automatically always supply the exact amount of oxygen you need at any given time.
The battery will give you around 1.3 hours on the highest continuous flow
setting, and 2.1 hours on the highest pulse dose setting. The battery duration will naturally be longer on a lower setting. For instance, the battery will last as long as 4.4 hours on the lowest pulse dose setting, and 3.7 on the lowest continuous flow setting.
You will be able to charge your Eclipse 3 while using it when plugged into an outlet with the AC adapter, and use the Eclipse 3 while it is plugged into your vehicle's power supply with the DC adapter. Also included with the Eclipse 3 is the mobile cart, which is lightweight and features a telescoping handle, and a free nasal cannula.
It weighs 18.4 lbs with the battery, and is 19.3 inches tall, 12.3 inches wide and 7.1 inches deep. The size is considered small for such a wide range of oxygen flows, as well as being able to house such a powerful battery. You will be able to bring it with you wherever you go easily, with the lightweight mobile cart that comes with your Eclipse 3.
This oxygen concentrator also has great battery life and is approved by the FAA for use aboard a passenger flight to or from the United States.
